A320 Flight Simulator Base Frame – Design and Build.
Simulator Adventures came about from a desire to bring high quality low-cost flight simulator experiences to the general public.
After being approached by simulator adventures owners Alan and Stewart, Driven Design were tasked with developing a base frame for a prototype Airbus A320 flight Simulator. The brief for the frame was to provide an interface between a multi axis motion system and the ‘Skalarki Electronics’ A320 Simulator body.
The frame was developed utilizing SolidWorks design and simulation software to handle not only the forces and mass of the simulator and crew but also any aerial acrobatics or disasters that budding pilots may be able to put the brave and vastly experienced instructors through!
